What is Sedation Dentistry?

The type of sedation dentistry -- also known as "sleep" or "twilight" dentistry -- involves no IVs and no intubation. You're breathing on your own and we are monitoring your vital signs (like your pulse and breathing) to make sure you are healthy and safe. Before your appointment, you will take some pills which put you in a sleep-like state so that we can get to work on your beautiful smile... and you don't feel or remember anything from your appointment!

Sedation cost is $600.

We also offer a monthly email subscriber contest to win sedation for FREE! Click the button below to enter.

Is Sedation Dentistry Right For Me?

Sedation dentistry is an excellent option for patients who need a lot of dental work done and want it done all at once. It's also a great option for people who are anxious or afraid of the dentist, don't want to remember anything, have oral nerves that are really sensitive to pain or who require a lot of local anesthetic. You deserve to be comfortable and relaxed at the dentist!

Sedation dentistry is not right for every patient. Dr. Pajek can meet with you to discuss your eligibility during your consultation appointment, based on your medical history. Patients who don't usually qualify include:

   -   pregnant patients

   -   patients with chronic bronchitis, sleep apnea, or other respiratory disease

   -   patients taking certain medications

   -   patients that have ingested alcohol prior to their appointment

   -   patients who are too young

The best way to find out if you qualify is to call us and schedule an appointment!
